Processing Shed – Update

Work is progressing well.  On the 24^th January, our herd decided to do a random inspection to ensure everything was up to scratch!  The white steer was particularly interested in the internal work!

We were lucky to have Rick entertain us on three occasions during his month long holiday back home on the Island.  Rick was accompanied by our own Pendo.   Rick is a much sought after entertainer in Australia with his band Eon Beats.  He has been booked for both the Brisbane and Sydney Jazz Festival and on Australia Day, played Pirrama Park in the heart of Sydney.   We are so lucky for him.

Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas Day.

Staff were on deck early to prepare the Restaurant which was transformed into a beautifully relaxing Christmas environment, with carols playing in the background.

That’s right, Norfolk Blue are in the process of building our new processing shed.  Construction is well on the way so stay tuned for updates as we progress through the process.

Norfolk Blue AI Program

Norfolk Blue’s concept of paddock to plate has been taken to new heights.  We can now truly claim that we manage our beef from conception to plate even to the extent that our employees recently assisted with the conception of beef which will be presented in our restaurant in two plus year’s time (click here to view a gallery of images about our AI program).

In October, we commenced our first AI program with a view of injecting greater productivity into our beef.
